I find myself starring,
At a crowded room,
But I cannot see them,
Nor can I hear them.
You see me smile,
But am I happy?
Unaware you witness,
My Foredoom.
Each step taken upward,
Is two steps deeper,
Into the pits of my downfall.
How do I respond?
To my hearts desperate call?
I can’t go on living,
I am weak,
I just want to take,
My last deep breath,
Drum my last heartbeat.
My marching days are over,
There is nothing left in me,
My fighting is done and over with,
Forgive me if I still disappoint you,
But today, is the day I quit.
Today I break,
The unforgiving chain of restrain.
I lay my bare naked body,
On this cold earth,
I am beyond fixing,
There is no help.
I lay here bleeding,
Quenching earth’s thirst
And fading away,
Like everything else.
When Injustice
Becomes Law.
Rebellion
Becomes A Duty
